Pre Eritrea

I'm currently on a train bound for DC on my way to visit my extended family in Eritrea. The last time I went was in 2000 and it was a massive experience. Naturally I'll be taking pictures this time.

My two cameras are my Yashica Mat 124-G medium format camera and my Canon Cannonet G-III QL rangefinder camera. The Yashica takes really nice portrait photos and is invaluable when it comes to taking pictures of people who don't realize you're taking their photo. The Cannonet is light and quick for everyday pictures.

I bought a buttload of film too.

I'll be writing a journal of the trip in addition to taking pictures to help connect the pictures to my travels, just like I did when I took this same trip in 6th grade.
